Greetings to every one and warm welcome to my blog. I had started this blog in Aug 2013 but did not take it forward in right earnest. Hopefully in the second attempt of mine I should be more active and regular.
This being my first post after a long time, I reproduce with some minor changes, what I had written then as an introduction to this blog - Being the first post, I intend to give a brief idea about who am I. A chemical Engineer by profession having graduated in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras in 1970, I have 40+ years of professional experience. In professional area, my interest lies in general management, human psychology, economics, energy conservation, waste management and environment related issues apart from basic chemical engineering challenges. As a hobby I am a Rasika of classical music (especially Carnatic). In addition, I also spend time in understanding our philosophy and make serious attempt to appreciate similarity between science and philosophy (say Physics and Metaphysics).
At 66, I have retired from active service and want to keep my grey cells active by exchanging views, sharing anecdotes, inviting comments on varied topics and hopefully make this blog vibrant.
